Second review meeting for BECA

On 29 January 2013, the second review meeting of the BECA project took place in Turin.  In this frame, the progress of the project during 2012 was presented to the commission. All deliverables in the work packages  WP3, WP4, WP5, WP7 and WP8 have been accepted. Details for each WP can be found here:

WP3 (specifications):

Second iteration of specifications finalised

• Tenant Facing Web Services (v2)
• Back Office and Process Applications (v2)

WP4 (implementation):

Completion of second prototype testing of all BECA services at all sites

Execution of on-site testing of all BECA services at all sites following a common procedure

• Average use case satisfaction: 4,4 out of 5
• Response protocols outlined

WP5 (pilot site preparation):

Preparation of all BECA pilot sites including acquisition, recruitment of users, empowering staff to carry out service

Implementation of operational services at BECA pilot sites

WP 7 (Evaluation):

Setting up evaluation plans for all sites and description of pilot layout following a common template

Carrying out baseline surveys and baseline measurements

Some details:

• Almost 800 finalised interviews
• Each tenant change recorded for analysis

WP 8 (Dissemination):

Development of Cost-Benefit Analysis

Some details:

• 2012: 29 publications; 38 events
• National TV/Radio in Serbia and Bulgaria
